Standard analysis and result viewing

Standard analysis Holtersystem 2F includes quantitative assessment of heart rate and its disturbances of cardiac rhythm, ST-segment dynamics and also pacemaker functional analysis. Results are presented in text summery, hourly table of diagnosed events, graphs and trends, and also in ECG strips. Summery is formed according following values:

• Frequency of the main (sinus) rhythm with minimal, maximum and average heart rate detected per hour and per whole monitoring period
• Characteristics and frequency of ectopic ventricular activity with single, bigeminal and paired ectopic beats detected and also runs of ventricular tachycardia considering its polymorphy.
• Characteristics and frequency of ectopic supraventricular activity with specially detected episodes of atrial fibrillation
• number of pauses and their length
• ST-segment displacement and its relation to heart rate

ST-segment analysis

Special program for ST-segment analysis provides manual editing of automatic ST-segment measurement results on the fixed distance from j point (0-80 ms) and its shifting from computed "floating" zero level. For control of automatic measurements are available:  trends of ST-segment level and HR, native ECG and averaged ECG in 15,30 or 60 s. There are restrictions on analyzing of aberrant and ventricular ectopic complexes.

Recoding and analyzing of signal-averaged ECG (LP)("ventricular late potentials")

Holtersystem 2F allows analyzing of signal-averaged ECG of high resolution in any selected moment on specified time limit or specified number of analyzing QRS-complexes, also on reaching specified noise level. Analysis is performed in Simson method and allows estimating so-called late ventricular potentials and length of signal-averaged P-wave.

Based on the measurement results, the following indicators are calculated:

• the duration of the filtered QRS complex
• the duration of low-amplitude high-frequency potentials in the final part of the QRS complex
• the root-mean-square value of the voltage in the final part of the QRS complex, calculated by the "Vector magnitude"

Heart rate variability

Holtersystem 2F allows analyzing of RR intervals variability in selected 5- or 10- min. time periods during 24 hours of monitoring, in per hour mode and day-night mode. Analysis is performed in time domain with computing of SDNN, SDNN Index, SOANN, RMSSD, NN50, pNN50; triangular index (TINN) and etc. Analysis ends with plotting of the intervalogram, scattergram and RR bar chart, and so provides all-embracing results. Artifacts and arrhythmia (extrasystoles, pauses) are automatically excluded from the processing during indexes computing of rhythm variability.

Spectral analysis of rhythm variability is performed in frequency domain with power density measurement in full spectrum (Tot power), ULF, VLF, LF, HF.

Pacemaker analysis

System provides analyzing of disturbance in the main types of currently used pacemakers. The main capability of the analysis is automatic detecting of stimulus artifacts by the specialized recorder irrespective of electrical heart signal and noise.

Ambulatory monitoring BP/ECG

Due to the combining features of BP and ECG monitoring in one recorder, synchronization of BP measurement results and ECG changes (depression/elevation of ST-segment, arrhythmia) is available. BP measurement is performed by two methods: oscillometry and auscultation. During data processing all standard statistical indices of ambulatory BP monitoring are defined (variability, indices of hyper- and hypotensia, pressure load and etc.) per day, per day and night time limits. Besides that, it's also possible to define "special interval” of time. In all time intervals there is particular programmable frequency of BP measuring and performs the proper processing of received data.

PTADEF® technology

This unique method is clinically validated in Bakulev Scientific Center and Cardiology Research Center. It allows detecting P-wave of atrial ectopic beats that fusion into T-wave and analyzing its morphology. It allows defining localization of beat source and promotes diagnosis of supraventricular aberration.

QT-interval analysis

In automatic mode system provides measurements of QT-interval (by apex or end of the T-wave) and its dispersion. Also it allows assessing the dependence of these values on heart rate. Specified values can be detected both in the selected period of time in the record and in whole period of monitoring with making trends and graphs.

Database running

Holtersystem 2F allows saving and systematizing of the record and also results of its analyzing. HHD of the computer is used for operative data saving, for backup storage of large data CD or DVD dics are used.
